What we collect

Order and account data (name, delivery/billing address, email, phone, order history); device and usage data when you browse (IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, via cookies); payment data handled by Shopify Payments (we receive confirmation of payment, not your full card number); and anything you share when you contact support.

Why we use it and legal bases (GDPR)

To process and deliver orders and provide support (performance of the contract); to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation); to send marketing such as our newsletter (your consent, withdrawable anytime via the unsubscribe link); and to improve and secure the store and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests).

Sharing your information

We share data only with processors who help us run the store, each only as needed: Shopify (store and checkout hosting), Shopify Payments (payments), our courier(s) such as Sameday (delivery and, for cash on delivery, collection), and our accountant. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some processors such as Shopify may process data outside the EU, protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep order and invoice data for the period required by Romanian tax law (generally up to 10 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Automated decision-making

Our providers such as Shopify may use limited automated processing to detect and prevent fraud. We do not make decisions producing legal effects about you based solely on automated processing.

Minors

The store is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, email adaraaporter@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data-protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Cookies

We use cookies to run the store (essential) and, with your consent, to analyse usage and show relevant offers (analytics and marketing). You set your preferences in the cookie banner shown on your first visit and can change them anytime.

Changes
